Brandenburg Choral Festival of London: Handel Messiah

  • Holy Sepulchre London Holborn Viaduct London, EC1A 2FD United Kingdom (map)

Handel’s Messiah, with a text drawn from the King James Bible by Charles Jennens is a glorious reflection on Jesus as the Messiah. First performed in Dublin in 1742 it is now one of the best known and most performed classical choral works.

The Brandenburg Choral Festival of London’s traditional Christmas season concludes with their annual performance of Handel’s masterpiece. This year it is performed by their very own Brandenburg Festival Chorus, with singers drawn from the many fabulous choirs that have performed in the Festival over the years. It will be an uplifting finale to this year’s Christmas celebrations.
