Our various services in 2026
We hope all our services offer a welcome to all but alongside our dedicated morning prayer for musicians on Tuesdays, we also have various special services throughout the year where we particularly focus on commemorating and celebrating music and musicians. All are welcome to these services and we hope that others do join these services too, to make visible our gratitude for the contributions made.
Songs from the Viaduct - visit www.hsl.church/songsvia - A chance to hear some of the rising stars of the UK classical vocal scene live in concert in the warm and friendly environment of the National Musicians’ Church
Music and Spirituality Series - every last Wednesday of the Month during term time we have a monthly music and spirituality talk by a guest speaker at Choral Evensong Wednesdays 5.15pm
Holy Week Reflections - Wednesday 1st April 2026, 5.15pm - A candlelit evening of music and readings - with the Choir of Holy Sepulchre
Annual Thanksgiving Service for Musicians - Wednesday 20th May 2026, 5.15pm - The Cambridge University Schola Cantorum will be directed by Graham Walker
Music and Spirituality Conference - Saturday 16th May 2026, 9.30am - With keynote talks, breakout sessions and choral worship.
End of Proms Service - Sunday 13th September 2026, 3pm
Requiem Mass - Wednesday 4th November 2026, 5.15pm - Held in memory of all musicians whose names are inscribed in the Musicians’ Book of Remembrance.
Come and Sing: Choral Evensong for St Cecilia - Wednesday 18th November 2026, 5.15pm - Whether to attend or sing, please sign up at www.hsl.church/stcecilia
Carols by Candlelight - Wednesday 9th December 2026, 5.15pm - A combination of festive favourites for our traditional service of lessons and carols. Mulled wine and minced pies after the service.
