Alpha is a great way to explore the Christian faith, and we would love to invite you to join us! Our next Alpha will be in person and begin on Tuesday 17th January 2023 at 5pm for 8 weeks. Click below to book your place and we will keep you in the loop.3w
Who is it for?
Alpha is for everyone - whether from a faith background or not, everyone is welcome! No question is out of bounds and you are free to discuss as much or as little as you wish. We don’t assume any background knowledge of or belief in Christianity and everyone is welcome.
You don’t have to come for the whole term – just pop along for the first session and see what you think. No pressure, no follow up and no charge.
What Happens?
Come along to the Church in person, you are welcome to have share a meal with some hot food provided at 5pm and the course will start at 5.30pm.
Who will you invite…
The films are designed to engage and inspire conversation. Usually around thirty minutes long, they explore the big issues around faith and unpack the basics of Christianity, addressing questions from 'Who is Jesus?' and 'How can we have faith?' to 'Why and how do I pray?' and 'How does God guide us?'.
Followed by a discussion...
Probably the most important part of any Alpha: the chance to share thoughts and ideas on the topic, and simply discuss it in a small group. There's no obligation to say anything and there's nothing you can't say (seriously). It's an opportunity to hear from others and contribute your own perspective in an honest, friendly and open environment.

Alpha Day
The Alpha day offers a great opportunity to get to know your group better and hear some more talks about the Christian faith. Everyone on the current term of Alpha is welcome to come.
