The Competition: Creating a lasting memorial in the Royal Fusiliers Memorial Chapel
The Korean War is too often called the “forgotten conflict.” This project aims to ensure it is remembered with dignity and gratitude through the installation of a new stained-glass window in the south aisle, Royal Fusiliers Memorial Chapel at Holy Sepulchre, London.
Our purpose
This major initiative will:
Commemorate the Korean War and the sacrifices made by those who fought.
Recognise the Royal Fusiliers and all who served alongside them in Korea.
Honour veterans’ contributions to business and society after their return home.
Competition launch

Who we are
The Royal Fusiliers’ Korean War Commemorative Window Committee is a specific sub-committee of Holy Sepulchre’s PCC, bringing together representatives of Veterans, the church, the Regiment and the City.
About the competition
We invite proposals to design, manufacture and install a stained-glass window that fittingly commemorates the Korean War within the architectural and spiritual context of the Chapel and church. The full competition process (stages, eligibility, submission format, and timeline) is currently being finalised and details will be available at the launch event or downloaded here when finalised.
