The City Prayer Breakfast has for many years provided an annual focus for people who work in, or who have a heart for, the City of London to meet together and pray in the name of Jesus.

We host an annual breakfast in October each year. The 2023 event will take place on Wednesday 11 October 2023 at Holy Sepulchre Holborn and booking is now open.

Our theme this year is “A Good Return – Why do I work?”.This year’s speaker is John Lennox, Emeritus Professor of Mathematics, University of Oxford, Emeritus Fellow in Mathematics and Philosophy of Science Green Templeton College, who will be speaking to us and drawing on his new book “A Good Return: Biblical Principles of Work, Wealth and Wisdom”.

After the main event there will be two concurrent breakout sessions until 10am. These will be hosted by the London City Mission and the Oxford Centre for Christian Apologetics.
