Monthly Concert with Songhaven

On the last Friday of each month, we will be presenting a professional dementia-friendly concert at 1.15pm. The concert is free to attend and booking is essential.

Relaxed - Inclusive - Joyous FREE - All Welcome! Please note that booking in advance is essential A 45 minute concert of well-loved songs from stage & screen performed by 3 professional artists. Relaxed, dementia-friendly, and shame-free atmosphere - singing along and responding to the music are warmly welcomed! Performance followed by a social tea. Accessible venue & toilet facilities - please let us know of any specific access needs or concerns at time of booking.

Alice Privett (soprano)

Alice is a graduate of the Royal Academy of Music (Masters and Opera Course) and the Guildhall School of Music and Drama (BMus Hons). Alice has performed for companies including Barefoot Opera, Garsington Opera, Opera Holland Park) Longborough Festival Opera, Iford Opera, West Green Opera, British Youth Opera, Aldeburgh Festival, UCL Opera, Pop Up Opera, Regents Opera, Independent Opera, and Ryedale Festival. www.aliceprivett.com

Philip Clieve (tenor)

Lancashire born tenor Philip Clieve gained both his MMus and Bachelors’ from the Royal Northern College of Music. He was a Young artist at the National Opera Studio 2020/21 and an Associate Artist in 2021/22. Philip enjoys a varied career performing oratorio and song repertoire as well as operatic performances for companies including British Youth Opera, Opera Seria, Buxton Festival Opera, and Grange Park Opera.

Panaretos Kyriatzidis (pianist)

A native of the Greek island of Thassos, Panaretos holds a BA in Law from the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. He finished his postgraduate studies in piano performance under Martino Tirimo and Eugene Asti at Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music and Dance. He won the Gerald Moore Award, Emmy Destinn Awards Accompanist prize and the duo prize at the London Song Festival. He has been musical director for several operatic productions at the Kings Head Theatre and performed live on BBC Radio 3. He is currently the musical director of St Paul’s Opera and the Opera Makers, as well as a member of staff at Trinity Laban Conservatoire and Morley College.
