Thursday Lunchtime Concert Series

Our concert series will continue with classical musicians, which will be in person only. For this term, we will be enjoying music from the LPMAM Ukrainian Music Students in collaboration with LPMAM and the same programme will be repeated at our 5pm concert.

Refreshments are served from 12.30pm and the concert begins at 1.10pm.

The concert is free with a suggested donation of £5 to our Music in Community fund and all are welcome.

Musicians:

Giulio Cecchi, guitar Giulio is an Italian guitarist currently teaching-internship at LPMAM. He started studying guitar with Diego Lopilato and Flavio Cucchi, and after his bachelor’s degree at Fiesole Music Academy with Silvano Mazzoni, he completed a master degree at the Vecchi-Tonelli Musical Institute in Modena, where he studied with Andrea Dieci. Giulio has won several guitar competitions including first prize at “Città di Moncalieri”European Music Competition, “G. Rospigliosi”National Competition and London Classical Music Competition. His guitarflute duo with Emma Longo has received several awards, including first prize at Premio “G.Alberghini”, Florence Guitar Competition and “Crescendo”Competition. He teaches guitar at Caruso Musical Accademy in Lastra a Signa (Florence)and at Artes Music School in Prato.

Nikita Vikhorev, violin Nikita is a 22 years old violist from Odesa, Ukraine. He graduated in violin and conducting at the Nikholaiv College of Music Art before joining the London Performing Academy of Music for the Undergraduate Performance program at the Kharkiv university. He performed extensively as soloist for Classical and Crossover, with recitals in television broadcast, including the opening of the concert season in Kharko.
